A Vision of the Future: Documenting the Montessori Model United Nations

I had the incredible opportunity to photograph the Montessori Model United Nations over four days; capturing their journey at the Times Square Marriott and an unforgettable day at the United Nations. The producers immediately resonated with my documentary style, seeking artful, intentional imagery that reflected the heart of what these young delegates experienced each day.

I immersed myself in their world; sitting in classrooms, listening to discussions and debates, and witnessing their workshops. I watched as students from across the globe collaborated, problem-solved, and built friendships through diplomacy and shared vision. Seeing their dedication culminate in presentations at the United Nations was truly surreal, a moment I’ll never forget.

This experience reminded me why I love what I do, to create art with purpose, to capture the beauty of human connection, and to document the stories that inspire us all.
